I, like some others, needed more than the nine feet of wire to the receiver. I cut the receiver wire and spliced in an extra 25 feet of Cat5 (Just used the blue pair). I used telephone wire splices from Radio Shack.The spliced setup works perfectly to control the cable box for yy A/B switch connected dual TV setup
